SEND Across The Curriculum

Vision

At Newhall Park Primary School, we take pride in promoting Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across our curriculum. We believe in providing every pupil with the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their unique challenges. Our approach is centered on inclusivity, ensuring that teaching is tailored to meet individual needs, thereby fostering a supportive and enriching educational environment.

To achieve this, we employ a variety of strategies to address the four areas identified in the SEND Code of Practice 2014: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social emotional and mental health, and sensory and/or physical needs. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively with families to create personalised learning experiences, ensuring that all children have access to a broad curriculum and can engage in meaningful ways alongside their peers.
